I think most of us find these sorts of challenges difficult - I know I do!
On the whole I believe I manage to be a fairly decent person; I’m moderately intelligent and I’m creative, but I don’t think I’m exceptional in any of those regards.
But okay, this is me banging the Dizzo Drum:
I like that I’m an empathetic person. I genuinely care when people are hurting, particularly those people I know and care about.
I think I’m a loyal person – being an only child, my friends – my ‘found family’ - have always been important to me.
I like that creativity is such an important part of who I am. Having a creative outlet is as vital to my wellbeing as food and water.
I like being a bit of an oddball. I’ve never, ever wanted to be mainstream or conventional – I couldn’t imagine anything worse. In the office, I’m the 52 year old woman who talks about cons and fandom, has a Supernatural back tattoo, marathons Star Wars and has Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy theme as her ring tone. And I’m really proud of that individuality! This entry was originally posted at https://dizzojay.dreamwidth.org/792681.html. Please comment there using OpenID.
