Day 5 - Your Favourite Quote.
At last, an easy one!
This is a famous quote that is credited to the late Steve Jobs, although I guess there were probably some clever advertising executives involved too!.
While don't necessarily think of myself as crazy, I've always been a little 'off the wall'. I was the kid at school who was never in with the in crowd (not that I ever wanted to be, they bored the pants off of me), I was the teenager who would rather sit and draw or read or write stories than go out with boys, I am the adult who couldn't give a toss about the latest fashion or who Katie Price is humping, but travels three hundred miles through the night to see a total eclipse, goes to Supernatural conventions dressed as the Impala and has a subscription for Fortean Times.
So this quote touched me and although I have no designs on changing the world, nor do I see myself as any kind of genius, I can totally relate to it and I love it very, very much.
'Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels. The trouble makers, the round pegs in the square holes. The ones
who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them,
glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them… because they change things, they push the
human race forward.
While some may see them as “the crazy ones”, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world – are the ones who do.'
