Happy Post: Busy Bee ... Me!

I haven't been around much these last few days, but I have been using my time very constructively ... so long as your definition of constructive is pretty flexible!

I've been co-ordinating a fundraising week in aid of the Care Workers Charity at work, which has been great fun.  So far we've raised £582.  I'm aware of at least £350 more - I really hope we can make it over £1,500 when everything is totted up.

In addition, I've been preparing for my first big art show of the Summer season which kicks off next Saturday, which, in turn, always clashes with GISH (formerly known as GISHWHES).  So GISH kicked off last Saturday, and that means my evenings this week are filled with weirdness and wonderfulness as I work my way through that.  I have something lined up for tomorrow night, which I can't tell you about, but let's just say - it involves my tongue!!

In other news, I had a WONDERFUL day at London Film and Comic Con on Saturday where I met up with our gorgeous milly_gal and the almost as gorgeous John Barrowman.

Here are the mugshots...

Olympia was busy, but not unbearably so!

Spot the Earthling!

John Barrowman looking FABULOOOOUS!

I am insanely jealous of Mr B's ability to bestride the stage in high heels and never once look like he was going to fall arse over tit.

With gorgeous Miss MIlly attempting a 'nice' friends photo.  Attempt # 1

Attempt # 2

Attempt # 3

Attempt # 4

We made it in the end!

A very hot and sweaty meet up with charming and delightful Mr B!

Shhh... Don't tell Danerys!

Attempting the 'Shake it Off' dance', ond only really managing to demonstrate why I should never choose performing arts as a career choice!

John Barrowman and Captain Jack Harkness both signed my picture!

It was smaller on the inside - must be malfunctioning!

Daleks collecting for charity - they're not such bad guys really ...

So that's my week ... normal Jensen-lovin' service will be resumed shortly!
